A day in the Garden and two weeks painting

Well, that is the end of our break, ended with a nice day in the garden.  We have painted nearly the entire downstairs and the upstairs hallway.  I will try to take some pictures and post them for all to see.  The house is slowly coming together, and the garden is great.  It is amazing to see a transformation happening so quickly here, we are broke every month, but every month something in the house evolves, it will soon be a home for us to be really proud of. 

Of course neither of us are  ready to go back to work, but what can you do?  We have to earn money to sink into the house somehow.  Dorota is filing her nails and I am sitting here typing away for the people that won’t really read this blog as they don’t know it exists yet.  So for those anonymous readers, be well and stay cool.

Hello world! We are alive and well

This is just our first post, but perhaps we will start using it regularly and get family updated on the many continents in which they all live.  We have both been really busy with school and have been bad about keeping in touch with everyone, perhaps this will be a better way to do it.  We will see if I manage to get in the habit of regularly updating the site.
